Continuing his love and passion for the industry, Carlos founded Rama Records, Inc. in 1991 and Cooltempo Music Publishing specializing in Dance/House Music.  Recognized for signing such great dance music artists like Shawn Christopher, Barbara Douglass, Keith Nunnally, and Erik Washington Rama Records recruited top producer/remixers such as: Raphie Rosario, Matt Warren, Jose Lopez and Grammy Award Winner Maurice Joshua, etc. In 1992, Rama’s music partnered with Strictly Rhythm for worldwide distribution and licensing. During 1991-1995 legendary DJs supported Rama music across the U.S., European and Asian continents.

In 2000, Carlos relocated to Orlando, Florida, and founded “Tempo Music” Orlando’s largest Latin music retailer. Tempo Music fastly became the new hub for Latin artist to meet and break their music into the Orlando market and was a key store in supporting the "Reggaeton" sound.  Artists such as: Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, Don Omar, Pitbull and Juanes, etc. became regulars when visiting the Orlando market.

Continuing his efforts to further his career, Carlos earned his MBA in Technology Management in 2003 and co-founded Valderrama Partner, LLC a Business Consulting and Accounting Firm.

In 2005, Carlos reestablished Rama Music, LLC and extends Tempo Music to a Recording studio and becomes one of the largest digital distributors and has partnered with Apple and The Orchard. Rama Music represents various labels and distributes over 500 music albums of catalogs. Today, Rama/Tempo continues to sign new artists from all types of music genres and has expanded its operations into the European market partnering with Grammy Award winning producer Frankie Biggz.

 Today, Carlos continues to strive to maintain his personal passion as a Business Man by Day and Room Shaker by Night. As House Music continues to resurge in the US and International Markets, Carlos continues to be commercially successful in the music industry.
